Materials and Methods RMCP I and II were prepared as previously described (Everitt &
Neurath, 1979; Woodbury & Neurath, 1978; Woodbury et al., 1981). Human and dog skin
chymases were purified from the high-salt extract of skin by protamine pre-cipitation followed
by gel filtration chromatography (Schechter et al., 1983). At this stage of purification, theydo
