Control and Prevention (CDC) on reverse sequence screening for syphilis from 2006 to
2010. The analysis found that enzyme and chemiluminescence immunoassays (EIA/CIA)
had a nonreactive rapid plasma reagin (RPR) test. It also offered clinical information on
Treponema pallidum. An editorial comment on the report is also presented.
